Don't Stand So Close To Me/Young Girl ist ein Mash-Up aus der zehnten Episode der ersten Staffel, Balladen, und wird von Will gesungen, weil er Rachel klarmachen will, dass er nicht an einer Beziehung mit ihr interessiert und sie viel zu jung für ihn ist. Emma ist ebenfalls anwesend, um ihm dabei zu helfen. Rachel missversteht den Sinn des Songs und glaubt, dass es für ihn nur schwer sei, weil sie um so vieles jünger ist, während Emma unterdessen von seinen Sing- und Tanzkünsten angetan ist. Nachdem Will gesehen hat, dass Rachel die Botschaft, die er ihr mit dem Song geben wollte, nicht verstanden hat, fragt er Emma, was er stattdessen ausgedrückt hat, welche antwortet, dass er ein sehr guter Performer sei, zeigend, dass sie die Performance über abgelenkt und keine große Hilfe war.
"Don't Stand So Close To Me" stammt von The Police aus ihrem dritten Album "Zenyatta Mondatta" aus dem Jahr 1980.
"Young Girl" stammt von Gary Puckett and the Union Gap aus ihrem zweiten, gleichnamigen Album "Young Girl" aus dem Jahr 1968.

- Der Text von Young Girl wurde geändert, um ihn der Story anzupassen, da er ursprünglich von einem Jungen gesungen werden sollte, der sich in ein jüngeres Mädchen verliebt.
