Don't Stop Believin ist ein Song der im Original von der amerikanischen Rockband Journey stammt. Dieser Song ist auf ihrem Album "Escape", welches 1981 veröffentlicht wurde, enthalten. Dieser Song wurde vom Cast der Serie in der ersten Episode von Staffel 1 gecovert. Es ist außerdem die erste Single vom Soundtrack der Serie, Glee: The Music, Volume 1, und wurde in der ersten Folge, Ouvertüre, gesungen.

Später erscheint der Song in der Episode April, April in der Quinn Rachels Solo singt. Aber während des Songs bricht Quinn ab, weil ihr aufgrund ihrer Schwangerschaft übel wird. In der Episode Alles steht auf dem Spiel wird er erneut gesungen, allerdings von der Haverbrook School for the Deaf Chor, die es von der Setlist der New Directions gestohlen hatten, nachdem Sue sie darüber informierte.
Der Song wurde auch im Staffelfinale Triumph oder Trauer? als ein Teil vom Journey Medley von den New Directions gesungen. Bei der Don't Stop Believin' (Regionals Version) haben 5 von 6 der ersten Mitglieder von den New Directions Solos: Mercedes, Kurt, Artie, Rachel und Finn.
