Songbird ist ein Song aus der neunzehnten Folge der zweiten Staffel, Das jüngste Gerücht, und wird von Santana gesungen. Sie möchte damit ihre Gefühle für Brittany verdeutlichen und singt es ihr allein im Chorraum vor, weil sie Angst davor hat, was die New Directions möglicherweise hinter ihrem Rücken sagen könnten. Während des Songs, hat Santana Tränen in den Augen und sieht Brittany intensiv an. Am Ende umarmen sie sich und Brittany fragt sie, ob sie zu "Fondue For Two" kommen möchte, damit sie sich dort outen kann. Santana stimmt zwar zu, taucht aber nicht auf.
